Career

Bryan Hogan began his career as an amateur with the Lincoln Stars in the USHL where he played from 2005 to 2007. He then moved to the University of Michigan and played there on the university team, which competes in the NCAA . For the 2011/12 season Hogan moved to the Dayton Gems in the CHL , where he played 23 games before moving to league rivals Wichita Thunder . After just one season in the CHL, Hogan moved overseas to the Frederikshavn White Hawks from the AL-Bank Ligaen and for the 2013/14 season to SC Riessersee .

In January 2014, Hogan suffered a partial tearing of the front syndesmosis ligament in a defensive action in the 15th minute of the game in the SC Riessersee game against ESV Kaufbeuren . As a result, Niklas Treutle was signed with a license from EHC Red Bull Munich as a replacement . Despite the injury break, he was elected the top goalie of the 2013/14 main season by a panel of experts consisting of coaches, managers and journalists. After a season at SC Riessersee, Hogan moved to the newly promoted Löwen Frankfurt for the 2014/15 season . Most recently he was active for the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL in October 2015 before Hogan ended his career.
