The castle Untreues Ziel is presumably a lost castle in the area of ​​the desert Untreues Ziel in the "Bubenhofener Tal" north of the town of Rosenfeld in the Zollernalbkreis ( Baden-Württemberg ).

history

The castle, which can no longer be localized, was owned by the Lords of Bubenhofen ( feudal people of the Lords of Zimmer ), a Swabian aristocratic family that can be traced back to 1190 and that has been documented in the Bubenhofen Valley since 1254, migrated in the 14th century, rose to great importance in the 15th Century was the richest knight family in the wider area and died out in the 19th century. The castle is mentioned in the Zimmerische Chronik as "Untrewes Zil" , a field name Infidelity Target is also known from the period between 1417 and 1441.
