The moated castle Bubenhofen is an abandoned moated castle at the confluence of the Süßenbach in the Stunzach in the "Bubenhofener Tal" ( Weiler Bubenhofen) 1800 meters east of the town of Rosenfeld in the Zollernalbkreis ( Baden-Württemberg ).

The castle was the seat of the Lords of Bubenhofen ( feudal people of the Lords of Zimmer ), a Swabian noble family that can be traced back to 1190, which has been documented in the Bubenhofen Valley since 1254, emigrated in the 14th century, rose to great importance, in the 15th century the richest Knights from the wider area and died out in the 19th century. The Lords of Bubenhofen also owned the castles Tiefenberg and Untreues Ziel in the area .

The Burgstall still shows traces of the terrain and is the location of the “Burg” bus stop.
