The Postal Schlossberg denotes a Outbound medieval hilltop castle on 790 m above sea level. NHN in the spur location on the "Schlossberg" south of the Schneckenbichl castle stable and west of the former Peiting castle about 1400 meters southeast of the church of Schongau in the Weilheim-Schongau district in Bavaria .
Nothing is left of the former section fortification , today the site is registered as a ground monument D-1-8131-0072 "Multi-part section fortification and medieval castle stalls" by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation .
