Burkhard Müller-Ullrich (born November 19, 1956 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German and Swiss journalist and writer. He writes for the axis of good . Müller-Ullrich lived in Frankfurt am Main, Munich and on the island of Reichenau . In 1982 he moved to Geneva and in 1994 to Freiburg im Breisgau. Today he lives with his family in Cologne and Switzerland.

His work focuses on media criticism and international cultural reporting. Müller-Ullrich grew up in Frankfurt am Main, studied philosophy, sociology and history in Munich and left the university after a few semesters without a degree, while he worked for the Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Süddeutsche Zeitung .

Müller-Ullrich has been working as a journalist since 1978. At first he worked as a freelancer for various German broadcasters, the joint venture of Protestant journalism (at medium magazine and the church and radio industry service ) and the Frankfurter Rundschau . 1985–1988 he was an editor at the Swiss radio DRS and the Swiss book magazine Bücherpick . Since 2020 Müller-Ullrich has published the podcast "indubio" on the Axis of the Good , in which he discusses the political and social events of the day with his guests.
