Bylandstrasse, located in the eastern urban expansion area, connects the main street with Bendhecker Strasse. Object No. 19 is located in the middle of a well-preserved group of similar houses.
architecture
The property is a two-storey plastered building with an extended gable storey and a modified mansard roof . Asymmetrical facade design emphasizing the left axis with a semicircular bay window and triangular gable . Horizontal structure by means of a base and a slightly protruding eaves cornice over a block frieze ; on the ground floor horizontal structuring through strong joint cuts. Illumination of the basement by means of three rectangular windows; in the second window axis access to the cellar through an iron door.
Irregular window structure with window shapes that vary from storey to storey. The wall openings on the ground floor close off in a staggered arch , the two windows flanking the house entrance on the right are designed as narrow portrait formats, the third window is wider and divided into three parts. The two windows on the upper floor are formulated as narrow vertical rectangles, those of the bay window are designed in narrower proportions.
The shape and shape of the window openings in the gable field correspond to those of the ground floor. A standing ox-eye in the top of the gable . The roof area to the right of the gable breaks through a wide dormer window . The sparse stucco ornamentation is limited to flat window frames, vegetable shaped parapet decorations (bay windows), cartouche as crown ornament (house entrance) and garland decoration in the top of the gable.
