Cécile Vassort
Cécile Vassort (born June 2, 1941 ) is a French actress .
Life
The blonde actress made her debut in 1963 in La Rentrée , a short film by Serge Korber . This was followed by television roles, including Gaspard des montagnes (1965) and mini roles ( Brennt Paris? (1966), Benjamin - From the diary of a male virgin (1968)), until her discoverer Serge Korber gave her the cheeky supporting role of Janine in a love triangle between Jacques Perrin and Michel Creton in The Little Brave (1968): she is the lover of Perrin and Creton until Perrin falls in love with a prostitute ( Dany Carrel ). Other supporting roles followed, including a. alongside Jean Yanne and Senta Berger in Yves Boisset's war film Kommando Cobra (1971).
Cécile Vassort had her breakthrough in 1974 with the role of office clerk Aline Thévoz in Claude Goretta's tragicomic parlor game The Invitation . This was followed by the supporting role of Evelyne alongside Jean Gabin (as her film father) and Alain Delon in Endstation Schafott (1974), Martine alongside Philippe Noiret in Bertrand Tavernier's Der Uhrmacher von St. Paul (1974) and Annie in Claude Chabrol's A Funny Life (1975). As Christine, she formed a murderous women's quintet in Bernard Toublanc-Michel's Das böse variety (1975) with Claude Jade , Anny Duperey , Mary Marquet and Nicoletta Machiavelli , to which Jacques Weber surrendered. This was followed by Louise , who escaped a murderer ( Michel Galabru ) in Tavernier's The Judge and the Murderer (1976), again with Noiret .
At its peak in the mid-1970s, other films followed in which Vassort only played supporting roles: The Barricade of Point du Jour (1978, with Anicée Alvina ), The Lady of the Camellias (1980, with Isabelle Huppert ), A Murderous Summer (1983, with Isabelle Adjani ), Blanche and Marie (1985, with Huppert and Bonnaire ), Three Men and a Baby (1985) and The Light of the Extinct Stars (1994). She had a major supporting role as Georgette in Tavernier's Captain Conan and the Wolves of War (1996) alongside Philippe Torreton and Samuel Le Bihan . Also in some television productions.
