Nicholetta Rangoni Machiavelli (born August 1, 1944 in Stuffione , Modena , † November 15, 2015 in Seattle , Washington ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Nicoletta Machiavelli comes from the family of the Florentine politician Niccolò Machiavelli .

Machiavelli became known with Luigi Zampa's sarcastic comedy from 1966 A Question of Honor (Una questione d'onore) , in which she plays Domenicangela, alongside Ugo Tognazzi, his wife. Tognazzi hides as a murder suspect and occasionally returns to Domenicangela. When he becomes pregnant, the public believes in a lover; so he should kill his supposedly unfaithful wife. Zampa also engaged Nicoletta Machiavelli for the episodic comedy Our Husbands (1966).

This was followed by Spaghetti Westerns like head money: Ein Dollar (1967) with Burt Reynolds , Eine Flut von Dollars (1967) with Thomas Hunter , More Dead Than Alive (1968) with Arthur Kennedy , Hasse Thy Neighbor (1968) with George Eastman and Horst Frank as well Giarrettiera Colt (1967), in which she has to do with a gun smuggler gang as a gunslinger. Machiavelli had lived in Seattle since retiring from the movie business and taught language and cooking classes. There she died on November 15, 2015 at the age of 71.
