2003 CART season

The 2003 Champ Car season was the 24th season of the American racing series. This was the first season under the new name. The opening race took place from February 21 to 23 in St. Petersburg (USA); the final was held from October 23 to 26, 2003 in Surfers Paradise (Australia). Paul Tracy won this season.
