Reviews

Steven Gaydos wrote in Variety magazine on August 26, 1994 that comedy was wasting its potential. In the plot there are elements of The Club of the Dead Poets and Lord of the Flies , which would quickly disappear in favor of a "traditional" plot. The level largely corresponds to that of a “standard TV sitcom ”. Gaydos praised the performance of a number of cast members, including debuting Jonathan Jackson and Wendy Makkena.

The film magazine Cinema wrote that the film was "children's stuff, but very personable".
