Carl-Friedrich Koschnick
Carl-Friedrich Koschnick (born November 14, 1949 in Berlin ) is a German cameraman and director .
Life
Carl-Friedrich Koschnick did his training at the Technical School for Photo, Optics and Film [FOF], Berlin and worked for some time as a film laboratory assistant before becoming a camera assistant. With the television film Die Klassefrau and the two documentaries Der Bauer von Babylon - Rainer Werner Fassbinder shoots Querelle and Gedächtnis: A film for Curt Bois and Bernhard Minetti , he made his début as a cameraman in 1982. In 1997 and 1999 he was awarded a Bavarian Film Prize for his work in Silent Night - A Festival of Love and Meschugge . For his camera work in Jenseits (2001) he was awarded a German Camera Prize and the German Television Prize in the same year . In 2011 he was awarded the Austrian Romy for his cinematography on Jud Suss - Film Without Conscience .
