Carl Christoph von Schlippenbach (* 1676 ; † September 27, 1734 in Berlin ) was a Prussian Privy Councilor of State .

Life

Origin and family

Carl Christoph von Schlippenbach was a member of the Baltic noble family von Schlippenbach . His grandfather was Christoph von Schlippenbach. As his parents, the Kurländische Landmarschall and Oberburggraf zu Mitau Georg Christopher von Schlippenbach (1645-1717) and Magdalena Elisabeth von Buddenbrock or the Prussian general of the cavalry and diplomat Karl Friedrich von Schlippenbach (1658-1723) and Anna Barbara Sabine von Arnim are mentioned (1677-1739). Carl Christoph von Schlippenbach remained unmarried and died without leaving any children.

Career

Schlippenbach became Real Privy Councilor on November 23, 1718 . He held the title of Prussian Minister of State and was the Prussian thigh , and also the governor of Schlanstädt and Oschersleben . Schlippenbach was hereditary lord of the Prussian estates of Domnau and Sahlau, as well as Freiherr zu Sahlingen ( Goldingen ). From 1704 he was Knight of St. John and from 1731 Commander- in- Chief of Lagow .
