Carlos Alocén Arrondo (born December 30,  2000 in Saragossa ) is a Spanish basketball player .

career

Alocén was trained in the Tecnyconta Saragossa youth department . In the 2016/17 season he made his first short appearances in the men's team Zaragoza (later renamed Casademont Zaragoza) in the top division of Spain, the ACB league . He made his debut at the age of 15 years and 10 months. Only Ricky Rubio and Ángel Rebolo were younger when they were first used in the league. Alocén became an integral part of Saragossa's ACB line-up in the 2018/19 season. In July 2019 Alocén signed a contract for Real Madrid , but remained in the season 2019/20 on loan at Zaragoza before eventually in summer 2020 to the "Royal" changed.

National team

Alocén took part with Spain's youth national teams in the U17 World Championship 2016, the U16 European Championship 2016 (winning the gold medal), the U18 European Championship 2018 and the U20 European Championship 2019 (winning the silver medal).

He played his first full international match on February 22, 2019 and at that time was the fourth youngest player to ever appear for the national team after Carlos Sevillano , Juan Antonio Corbalán and Ricky Rubio.
