Carolin Großesinger (born May 10, 1997 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

societies

Großeringer made his debut for SG Bergheim / Hof in the ÖFB women's league in summer 2012 and moved to FSK St. Pölten in winter 2014 . In the summer of 2014 she moved to Union Kleinmünchen , where she made 28 appearances in the following two seasons. For the 2016/17 season , Großeringer signed a contract with German Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In January 2017, Großesinger announced her immediate return to Austria . On March 17, 2017, Großeringer signed with FC Bergheim in Austria , and in January 2019 she moved to FC Wacker Innsbruck .

National team

The goalkeeper has been through the junior selection of the ÖFB since the U-16 . With the U-17 national team, she qualified for the European Championship in England in 2014 . After the tournament in which Austria was eliminated after the preliminary round, Großeringer was chosen as one of three goalkeepers in the team of the tournament . Two years later she also qualified for the European Championship in Slovakia with the U-19 national team . The goalkeeper was appointed to the senior national team of Austria on July 1, 2017 for the 2017 European Women's Football Championship in the Netherlands .

Carolin Großesinger attended the National Center for Women's Football in St. Pölten until 2016 . She is the sister of the former professional soccer player Markus Grössinger , her cousin Isabella Grössinger was an Austrian national soccer player.
