Carolin Otterbach

Carolin Otterbach (born January 30, 1963 in Rastatt ) is a German film director , screenwriter and film producer who lives in Munich .

Career

Carolin Otterbach completed the basic apprenticeship ( Bauhaus ) with Oskar Holweck while studying visual communication in Saarbrücken and graduated successfully before starting her studies in directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). Her films - as director , author and dramaturge for cinema and television - have been shown at international festivals and honored with awards.

At the medienakademie (dma) in the Bavaria Filmstudios , Otterbach gives seminars in dramaturgy , research and screenwriting and supervises students at the HFF Munich. She works as a screenwriter for the long-running family series Die Fallers .

Carolin Otterbach is a member of the Federal Association of Directors (BVR) and ProQuote Film .
