Catalyst Inc. is a not-for-profit organization committed to advancing women in the workplace.

history

It was founded in 1962 by the feminist, writer and lawyer Felice Schwartz (1925–1996). Catalyst has offices in the United States , Canada , Europe and Germany and can count more than 400 respected companies among its members. Catalyst is recognized as a trusted source of information for research and advice on women's issues in the workplace. The annual Catalyst Awards recognize exemplary business initiatives for the advancement of women in professional life.

Catalyst Award

The Catalyst Award is presented annually to corporate initiatives that deliver measurable results for the recruitment and professional development of women. The initiative must provide data for at least one year that will be evaluated by Catalyst. The award is only awarded after a thorough on-site investigation.
