history
The ship was built on behalf of the Celebrity Cruises shipping company at Meyer Werft in Papenburg and completed in spring 2010. The Celebrity Eclipse, undocked in February 2010, belongs to the Solstice class and was transferred to Eemshaven on March 11, 2010 via the Ems . Several test drives and test drives were carried out from Eemshaven with Meyer Werft employees. The delivery took place on April 15, 2010 in Eemshaven in the Netherlands.
