Celina Bostic
Celina Bostic (born November 7, 1979 in Berlin-Charlottenburg ) is a singer and songwriter .
life and work
Bostic was born in Berlin-Charlottenburg . Her mother works as an occupational therapist , her father as a jazz bassist. Bostic has a sister. In 1999 she graduated from high school and at the end of the 1990s she appeared as a background singer for artists such as Farin Urlaub , Udo Lindenberg and Max Herre . From 2000 she was the front woman of the band Sedoussa , with whom she released an album in 2004.
In 2001 she was a vocal guest with the band Soulounge and since 2002 a member of the Farin Urlaub Racing Team , where she performed as a background singer and percussionist until 2014 . In 2003, she is on the album sound the band The doctors in the song The day will hear both Farin Urlaub. At the same time she appeared under the pseudonym Bo $$ bitch Berlin on albums by Bass Sultan Hengzt and Bushido and wrote songs for Yvonne Catterfeld and Doreen Steinert .
In 2006 she separated from Sedoussa and began a solo career. She worked with producer DJ Ilan and songwriter Steve van Velvet on her debut album Das Original , which was released in 2007 by Four Music . In the same year, her first solo single, Lösch my number, was released . The following year, Kunst über Vernunft , a joint studio album with rapper Maeckes, was released .
In October 2014, her second solo album, Zu Fuss , was released, which was preceded by the two singles Papa and When Coming You .
In 2015 she accompanies Sarah Connor on her tour as a support act and also does her walking solo tour in addition to several club appearances . Recordings for a DVD were planned for the club appearances (including on September 10th and 11th, 2015 in the Bar Every Vernunft in Berlin).
