Chagrin Falls is a township in Cuyahoga County , Ohio . Chagrin Falls is one of the suburbs of Cleveland in northeast Ohio. The village was founded around a natural waterfall of the Chagrin River . At the 2000 census, the population was 4,024.
history
The municipality was established in 1844 on three townships in two counties . The neighboring Chagrin Falls Township was founded in 1845.
education
The schools in Chagrin Falls are part of the Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District . This school board is not only responsible for the public schools in Chagrin Falls, but also in the parishes of South Russell and Bentleyville and in part of the parish of Moreland Hills , Bainbridge Township and Russell Township .
In 2006, the Chagrin Falls School District was listed as "excellent" by Newsweek magazine for the sixth time in a row . In 2008, Chagrin Falls High School was one of the top 100 high schools in the country.
Culture
The Chagrin Valley Little Theater is one of the oldest community theaters in North America.
