Chandra Wilson (born August 27, 1969 in Houston , Texas ) is an American actress .

life and career

At the age of five she stood on a theater stage for the first time. Chandra Wilson has been making films for television and cinema since 1989. For example, she starred in the 1993 film Philadelphia in the supporting role of Chandra. In 2001 she got her first major role in the television series Bob Patterson . She also appeared in several commercials, including a. for Burger King .

Since 2005 she has played the role of Dr. Miranda Bailey in the American series Grey's Anatomy . With this role she achieved her international breakthrough.
