Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken (English for: " Chapter V: Untamed, Unbowed, Unbroken ") is the fifth studio album by the Swedish power metal band Hammerfall and was released on March 4, 2005 by Nuclear Blast in Europe. This is the band's second album to be produced by Charlie Bauerfeind .

The title is a statement against critics who accuse the band of commercialization and should make it clear that Hammerfall will always stand by their music.

The album debuted at # 4 on the Swedish album charts and was thus one place behind Angel of Retribution by Judas Priest , which was published at the same time.

Song info

The last song on the album features Cronos, the singer from Venom . Said song ends after a good ten minutes, but the CD ends after a few minutes of idling with a hidden track that begins with “ Hell fucking yeah ” and ends with the line “ the prophecy ” (from Knights of the 21st Century ).

The names of the songs Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken and Take the Black come from the novel A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin . However, Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken are written there, and Take the Black has no relation to the novel.
