Oscar Dronjak

Oscar Dronjak (born January 20, 1972 ) is a Swedish guitarist. He plays with the power metal band Hammerfall and is now the only remaining founding member.

Musical career

Dronjak, son of a Serbian professional basketball player who died in 1998, grew up in Mölndal . He played the flute first, then trombone in an orchestra for four years before becoming a guitarist. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he played in several death metal bands. He played with Ceremonial Oath until 1993 , after separating from the band he founded Hammerfall.

Dronjak also worked on the first two in-flames albums Lunar Strain and Subterranean and the song Dead Eternity on their third album The Jester Race as a background singer.
