Charang ( Nepali चाराङ ) is a village and a Village Development Committee in the Mustang district in the upper Kali Gandaki river valley .

The place Charang is located at an altitude of 3580  m on the western side of the valley, 10 km south of Lo Manthang .

Residents

At the 2011 census, Charang had 452 inhabitants (217 of them male) in 132 households.
