Chhoser ( Nepali छोसेर ) is a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Mustang district in the upper river valley of the Kali Gandaki .
Chhoser is located in the far north of the district on the border with the Tibet Autonomous Region ( PR China ). Chhoser is northeast of Lo Manthang and was formerly part of the Kingdom of Lo . The main town in the VDC is Nenyul . The towns in Chhoser are mainly on the east bank of the Kali Gandaki. Opposite, on the western bank of the river, the VDC Chhonhup extends .
Residents
In 2001 Chhoser had a population of 783. At the 2011 census, Chhoser had 529 inhabitants (227 of them male) in 158 households.
