Charlottendorf West is a district of the Wardenburg community in the Oldenburg district in Lower Saxony . The place was named after Sophie Charlotte von Oldenburg (1879–1964).
Geography and transport links
Charlottendorf West is located southwest of the core area of Wardenburg between the Lethe flowing to the west and the L 870 state road running to the east . It is west of Charlottendorf Ost .
The 185 ha large nature reserve Böseler Moor lies to the west and the 201-hectare nature reserve Sager sea, sand and small Heumoor south.
The A 29 runs to the east and flows the Hunte .
