The Chennai Open 2010 took place from March 2-7 , 2010 in Chennai , India . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2009/10 and was endowed with 25,000 US dollars. It belonged to the category 2 ½ star . The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2009/10 and was endowed with 53,000 US dollars.

Ong Beng Hee won the final against Jonathan Kemp with 14:12, 11: 9 and 11: 9. In the women's final , Nicol David won 11: 6, 11: 4 and 11: 6 against Jenny Duncalf .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. The women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of whom were qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Ramit Tandon and Joshna Chinappa each a spot in the main draw.
