Chiarumani is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Chiarumani is the central place of Chiarumani and is located in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Patacamaya in the province of Aroma . Chiarumani is located at an altitude of 4027 m on the edge of the ridge of the Serranía de Sicasica , which extends east of the place in a north-south direction. The closest village is the scattered settlement Chacoma three kilometers south of Chiarumani.

Chiarumani is located on the eastern edge of the Bolivian plateau between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. Due to the historically grown population distribution, the region has a high proportion of Aymara population, in the municipality of Patacamaya 83.2 percent of the population speak the Aymara language .
