Christa Strobel

Christa Strobel , also: Christa Mertins (born March 20, 1924 in Upper Silesia ; † August 6, 2018 ) was a German actress .

Life

Christa Strobel completed her acting training at the “Änne Schönstedt” drama school in Berlin . She played theater in Wilhelmshaven (1989/1990), Cologne (1988/1989, 1991/1992 and 1995/1996), Dinslaken (1994/1995, 1998/1999), Bonn (1992/1993, 1997/1998 and 1999/2000 ) and Würzburg (2003).

She had numerous roles in film and television productions. From 2005 to 2006 (episode 2545 to episode 2629) Christa Strobel played the role of "Mimi Baxter" in the ARD soap " Verbotene Liebe ". In 2010 this role died off-screen. At the Theater der Keller in Cologne she appeared in the play "Three Sisters" in 2007 and in "I wear my old coat, but it still holds up" in 2009.

Strobel last lived in Cologne. She died in 2018 at the age of 94. At her request, she was buried anonymously.
