Christián Makanda Mpaka (born March 8, 1988 in Kinshasa ) is a Congolese football player on the position of the striker . He currently plays with ASV Klagenfurt / Austria Klagenfurt amateurs in the fourth-class Carinthian regional league .
Career
youth
Mpaka began his active career as a football player in September 1995 in the 9th district of the Carinthian capital Klagenfurt at the Annabichler Sportverein . There he went through several youth league classes until his departure in 2004 and drew attention to himself with good performances. At the end of October 2004 there was finally a change to the youth department of FC Kärnten , whose combat team had only been relegated to the second-class Austrian first division in the 2003/04 preseason . In the youth of the club he was trained as a defender and also used as such. After reasonable performances in the youngsters, Mpaka worked his way up more and more towards the professional and amateur team of the club.
Club career
He made his team debut in the 2006/07 season with the amateurs of the club, who at that time were still in a syndicate with FC Welzenegg , when he lost 1-0 at home to his future club on May 15, 2007 , the SV Spittal / Drau in the 75th minute for Edmir Adilović came on. In the 2007/08 season , the young defender came to a number of league games. On the one hand, there were eight championship matches (all of which were only short appearances) for the amateurs of FC Kärnten, which were interrupted by two games in the professional team.
Mpaka made his professional debut on August 25, 2007 when he came on as a substitute for Stephan Bürgler in the 62nd minute of the 2-0 home defeat against the amateurs of FK Austria Wien . Only six days later he was on the pitch for the full game in the 4-0 away defeat against SC / ESV Parndorf and received a yellow card in the 18th minute for foul play . These two missions should remain the only professional missions in his young career to this day.
On January 31, 2008 Mpaka was awarded to the fifth-class Carinthian Unterliga Ost for Klagenfurt AC and, playing as a striker, scored four goals in twelve league appearances. After only a short stopover, he returned to his parent club in mid-June 2008. In the first combat team of FC Kärnten, which had meanwhile been relegated to the third-class Austrian Regionalliga Mitte , one of three parallel relays, he was then used in 14 championship games. After he was still active as a striker at the KAC, he played at the traditional Carinthian club in the usual position as a defender.
During the winter break of the 2008/09 season he left the club and transferred to SV Spittal / Drau in nearby Spittal an der Drau . There he completed ten league games in the spring season and scored one goal. In his first club team goal on March 28, 2009, he scored an own goal in the 28th minute, but made up for this mistake in the 90th minute by making the equalizer to 1: 1 and received a yellow card for complaining in the same minute. In addition to the missions for the first combat team of the club, he was also active for the second combat team, for which he completed 15 games.
During the summer break before the 2009/10 season , Mpaka moved again to the fifth-class Carinthian Unterliga Ost. This time it went to SV Griffen in Jauntal , where he is used as a striker again. After good performances in the autumn season, Mpaka and his team are in second place in the table at the winter break, two points behind the Eberndorfer AC . So far, Mpaka has played in 15 of 16 possible championship games and scored seven goals. In the summer season 2011 he moved to the Slovenian AK in Klagenfurt (3rd Austrian league).
From the winter break 2016/17 he is under contract with SV Tainach.
Private
Christián Mpaka emigrated with his family when he was 3 years old from Kinshasa to Austria, where they settled in Klagenfurt . Mpaka first attended secondary school there and then switched to grammar school , from where he later went to HAK1 Klagenfurt and then completed his school education with the Matura .
He has a total of 5 brothers and a sister, with Christián Mpaka being the eldest descendant of his parents. Of the five brothers, three play actively in a club; his brother Bernhard Glody Mpaka, who is five years younger than him, is also active in the first combat team of SV Griffen and has played for the U-17 academy team of SK Rapid Wien . Two of his younger brothers, Kevin and Raphael, currently play in the U-14 team of SK Austria Kärnten .
Christián Mpaka, who is currently a citizen of the DR Congo, has already applied for Austrian citizenship , but is on an equal footing with an Austrian due to his youthful positions in football. Mpaka currently lives in the 12th district of Klagenfurt in the Waidmannsdorf district .
