Christian Köllner (born September 8, 1990 in Landsberg am Lech ) is a German ice hockey and inline hockey player who was last under contract with the Neuwied Bears in the 2014/2015 season .

Career

Köllner made his first attempts at ice skating in 1993 at the age of two at his home club in Landsberg. There he played from Bambini to Juniors. At the age of only 17 he was introduced to the first team in training under Larry Mitchell until he came to the first game in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey against SC Riessersee on December 23, 2007 under coach Frederick Ledlin . As a result, he played for the club's first team, which has been in the league since 2008 . In 2011 Köllner moved to the Saale Bulls Halle in the Oberliga Ost and stayed for a total of three seasons.

After a six-month break, he signed a contract with the top division EHC Neuwied in January 2015 . In August 2015, the ice hockey club announced that the contract would not be renewed.

Inline hockey

Since 2006 Köllner has played with the Young Rollers in Germering , where he and his team won the German Junior Championship in 2006 and 2007. In 2008 he played for the first time for the Rolling Wanderers , which in 2008 won the German championship title for the fourth time in a row. In 2009 Christian was given a double license for both teams and won the championship again with the men.

His first national team experience was in Passau in 2006 when the U19 juniors played against the national team from Namibia. Furthermore, he played on June 5, 2010 as part of the preparation for the Inline Hockey World Cup 2010 in Ingolstadt with the senior national team against Brazil.
