Frederick "Fred" Ledlin (born April 27, 1963 in Coquitlam , British Columbia ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played in the ice hockey Bundesliga for the EC Hedos Munich and the EHC Freiburg and in the German ice hockey league for the Adler Mannheim .

Career

The 1.85 m tall striker began his career with various teams in the Canadian Junior League WHL , before moving from the University of British Columbia to SC Riessersee in the Second German Bundesliga in 1987 .

About the league competitor Neusser SC , the Canadian came to the EC Hedos Munich in the 1st Bundesliga, where he played five games in the 1989/90 season and scored one goal and two assists . In 1992 , Frederick Ledlin moved to EHC Freiburg, but he also only played two Bundesliga games for the Breisgauer . To found the DEL in 1994 , Ledlin signed a contract with Adler Mannheim, which he left after only one season in the direction of EC Bad Tölz from the second-class "1st league". For Bayern the attacker was on the ice for two and a half years, Ledlin's last second division station was the ERC Ingolstadt , for which he was active from 1997 to 1999 .

Via Deggendorfer SC , the Canadian moved to ERC Selb in 2000 , where he ended his career after a season at the age of 38.
