Christian Kreienbühl (born June 6, 1981 ) is a Swiss athlete and Olympian (2016). He specializes in long-distance running . Kreienbühl lives in Rüti and is an IT project manager (MA HSG ). He starts for TV Oerlikon.

Career

In 2012 he was Swiss champion in the marathon and in 2013 Swiss champion in the 10,000 meter run and half marathon. In 2015 he was also Swiss champion in Langcross.

He achieved his personal best in the marathon on September 27, 2015 in Berlin in 2:13:57 h, which put him in 18th place.

On August 21, 2016, he started at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and finished 76th in the marathon in 2:21:13 h.
