Christian Stoll , called Stolli , (born July 15, 1960 in Bremen ) is a German journalist , stadium announcer and sports organizer. Since 1996 he has been the stadium announcer for Werder Bremen in the Weser Stadium . From 2006 to 2016 he was also the official stadium announcer for the DFB .

biography

Christian Stoll studied history , journalism and literature in Mainz and Hamburg . From 1991 to 2009 he held managerial positions at various radio stations in Munich , Berlin and Hanover .

Until autumn 2009, Stoll was the head of the current editorial department and sports promotion at the Lower Saxony private broadcaster Hit-Radio Antenne . He then founded the Christian Stoll Sports Promotion in Hanover . At the six-day races in Bremen , Berlin , Stuttgart and Zurich , he was a regular hall speaker. For several years his company organized the “Coast Tour”, a racing series in seaside resorts on the Baltic and North Sea. Together with his Dutch partner Frank Boelé , he planned to revive two six-day races : in November 2011 in Hanover and in November 2012 in Cologne . In November 2011 the six-day race in Hanover was canceled due to a serious illness by Stoll and in February 2012 the one planned for Cologne as well. Stoll has been heading the press & PR company for coaching and consulting in Berlin since 2012 .

Christian Stoll has been the stadium spokesman for the Werder Bremen football club since 1996 , where he and Arnd Zeigler guide the audience through the game and the supporting program. From 2006 to 2016 he was the official stadium speaker of the DFB together with the Munich presenter Andy Wenzel and in this role he could be heard in the final of the 2006 men's soccer world championship in Berlin as well as at the opening game of the 2011 women's soccer world championship .

Trivia

In 2001 Christian Stoll received the Raab of the Week for a particularly loud moderation at the final of the six-day race in Bremen .
