Christian Weinberger

Christian Weinberger , also CC Weinberger , (* 1960 in Trieste ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Christian Weinberger grew up near Vienna . He completed his acting training from 1984 to 1987 at the Dramatic Center in Vienna. He then worked at the Mainz State Theater , at the Zimmertheater Tübingen and at the Klibühni Chur .

In 1992, under the management of Claus Peymann, he became a member of the ensemble at the Vienna Burgtheater , to which he belonged until 1998/99 and where he played under Giorgio Strehler , Manfred Karge , Karl-Ernst Herrmann , Achim Benning and Karlheinz Hackl , for example . In 1992 he was seen there in the world premiere of Elfriede Jelinek's Totenauberg , directed by Manfred Karge. After that he worked as a freelance actor and director mainly in Graz, Vienna and Munich. In Graz he staged, among others, Die Räuber and A Midsummer Night's Dream . In 1999/2000 he played the role of Gustl Spreitzer in the television series Julia - An Unusual Woman .

Since 2005 he can be seen at the Luisenburg Festival , where he was on stage under Michael Lerchenberg in the role of Kreithofer in The Bartered Grandfather . In 2015 he played the role of the landowner Pasotti at the Stockerau Festival in Don Camillo and Peppone under Zeno Stanek . He is a member of the Association of Austrian Film Actors .
