Christopher Shyer

Christopher Shyer (* before 1997 in Downsview , Ontario , Canada ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Shyer is the youngest of six children. Before his first TV role in the Canadian television series Riverdale, he played theater for many years. In 1998 he got his first leading role in The Falling .

Shyer has guest roles in many successful television series, including Practice - The Lawyers , Navy CIS, and Monk . He also starred alongside Alec Baldwin and Jill Hennessy in the Emmy and Golden Globe winning film Nuremberg - In the Name of Humanity (2000).

In September 2007 he celebrated in the musical Mamma Mia! made his Broadway debut in the role of Sam Carmichael, later played by Pierce Brosnan .

Shyer is also a co-producer on the series Awkward - My so-called life .
