The Cisse is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Rhodon , initially drains in a southerly direction and reaches the Loire valley in Chouzy-sur-Cisse . There a tributary of the Cisse flows into the Loire, but the main river swings to the west, runs parallel to the Loire and, after a total of 88 kilometers , flows into the Loire as a right tributary in the municipality of Vouvray , just east of Tours . The Cisse crosses the Loir-et-Cher and Indre-et-Loire departments on its way .
