Claudia Patricia "Gorda" Galindo Rodriguez (born October 15, 1987 in Bogotá ) is a Colombian beach volleyball player .
Career
With a few exceptions, Claudia Galindo has been playing with her sister Andrea Galindo since 2007 . In 2007, the two sisters competed in the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and reached fifth place. In 2011 they completed their first open tournament on the FIVB World Tour in Brasília . At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara in 2011 , the sisters again finished fifth. On the World Tour 2012 they played three open tournaments and the Grand Slam in Stare Jabłonki , without reaching any front placements. In 2013, they regularly made it into the top ten on the continental tour, while in the FIVB series they had their best results with 25th places at the Anapa Open and the Grand Slam in São Paulo . In 2014 they only played this Grand Slam on the World Tour with the same result. In 2015 they were not represented at the FIVB tournaments and, in addition to the continental series, only appeared at the Pan American Games in Toronto , where they finished sixth.
In 2016 they made it to the finals in the CSV series at the home tournament in Cartagena . Claudia Galindo then played two tournaments with Diana Rios . At the Fortaleza Open, the Galindo sisters played their only tournament on the 2016 World Tour . In 2017, in addition to the continental tournaments, they only competed in the low-rated FIVB tournament (one star) in Agadir , where they finished fifth. They qualified for the 2017 World Cup in Vienna via the CSV preliminary decision . There they lost in the preliminary round against the German duo Laboureur / Sude and were eliminated from the group bottom without winning a set.
