action
Former hippie Coconut Pete owns a vacation club on a remote island. The masseur Lars, who comes from Sweden, and the South American Juan are employed there. You see women in bikinis . Murders happen on the island, which a masked serial killer commits with a machete .
On the board with the names of the camp staff, some names are crossed out. The employees are looking for the killer and suspect numerous roommates. Some want to inform guests against the murderer's written instructions that they will be the next to be killed. Yu flees in an electrically powered car until the killer who walks quietly next to the car kills her too.
In the end, it turns out that the murders were committed by an employee who was employed as a joke cop . The perpetrator pursues the fleeing Jenny, Penelope, Juan and Lars. Juan repairs a boat damaged by the perpetrator and is fatally injured in the process. Before he dies, he wishes women to kiss. The killer gets tangled in a line attached to the boat and is cut in half. The upper half of his body attacks one of the women, but Lars throws her back into the water.
Reviews
Jamie Russell wrote for the BBC on June 17, 2004 that the same team most recently created Super Troopers - an "uneven but at times brilliant comedy." In comparison, this film is a crash; he slips into stupidity. It seems like the writers are already too tired of writing decent gags. Russell scoffed, maybe they had the movie Dude, Where's All My Jokes? should call.
The lexicon of international films wrote that the film offered an “inedible mixture of clothes, sex and violence film, in which the stale comedy was submerged behind drastic speculative massacre scenes”.
