Slammin 'Salmon - Butter the Fish! (Original title: The Slammin 'Salmon ; about the salmon mingling with the common people ) is a comedy film by the comedy troupe Broken Lizard from 2009.

Although the Broken Lizard films were usually directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, The Slammin 'Salmon is the first time Kevin Heffernan is responsible; it's his debut as a director. The film was shot within 25 days in early 2008 and premiered on January 17, 2009 at the Slamdance Film Festival in Utah . The film was released on December 11, 2009 in US cinemas.

The film is about a restaurant owner who initiates a competition under his staff, in which the one of his waiters who earns the most money in one evening is supposed to win a prize of 10,000 dollars. The loser, however, will have to face a boxing match with the owner Cleon Salmon (played by Michael Clarke Duncan ).
