The music video for Clumsy was created by Marc Webb and Rich Lee. It was filmed on September 7, 2007. The video premiered on AOL Music on October 12, 2007 and on October 26, 2007 on iTunes .

The music video begins in a child's room , on the desk is a pop-up book that opens and shows the names of the contributors and the title. Fergie starts to sing, she is wearing a blonde wig and a red dress . She turns the page, ends up at a fashion show and discovers an attractive man (Alex Lundqvist, professional paintball player from Russia ). He hides, she looks for him and finds him sweating with fear. Fergie dances for him, gives him several lap dances , comes closer and closer, but he crawls back against a wall. Fergie touches him with sexual intent. Then she went on a date with him in Paris at the end of which she noted his phone number. In the next scene, Fergie sits in a car, accidentally meets the same man again and rubs her bottom against the window pane, causing the man to run away. On the next page of the book Fergie sings on a pop-up rocket and while a dancer ravages the stage, she escapes into the rocket and flies to the next page, where she flies around a pop-up world in a plane. At the end of the video, Fergie poses for the camera on the roof of her villa and reads a text message. She slips, falls off the roof and is caught by the handsome man. They both kiss and hug.
