Fergie describes it as "a kind of slap in the face of the people, to let them know that I in am and just big get out ... I want to have just as much fun with as many men as I can." The song is a club hit with a personal take on topics like fame , honor , VIP, sex and men. The song starts with a siren , then men shout "Oh shit!" Throughout the song. or "Oh Snap!". Versions of London Bridge

The "Album Version" has a longer outro, the "Explicit Version" (also known as the "Normal Dirty Version") a shorter one. In the "Clean Version", "Oh Shit!" through "Oh Snap!" is replaced, the words "ho" and "ass" are also replaced, and the song ends with no outro.

Music video

Fergie and her band members from the Black Eyed Peas , Will.i.am , Taboo and Apl.de.ap thought about the concept of the music video so that the video would go well with the song. She describes the concept as follows: "We came up with an androgyny topic, my girls go to a gentlemen's club , they take the men to the bathroom , and they come back with hip-hop clothes and a slouchy look, like me it wants and love, some men will come half-naked for me too, and I will admire all these men. Later the men will ask me if I want to have sex with them and I will agree and be allowed to touch them. Will.i. am, Taboo and Apl.de.ap all have cameo appearances in the music video.

For the music video, which was filmed at Woolwich Barracks in Woolwich , South London , Fergie brought along many dancers. Some of their dancers dressed up as bodyguards and cholas .

In the video, Fergie sails through the Thames in front of Tower Bridge , which should not be confused with London Bridge .

On November 7, 2009, the London Bridge music video was viewed over 2,217,623 times on YouTube .
