Colin Chaulk (born January 7, 1977 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Alleghe in the Italian A1 series since 2010 .

Career

Colin Chaulk began his career as a hockey player with the Kingston Frontenacs , for which he was active from 1994 to 1998 in the Canadian Junior League Ontario Hockey League . He then worked for numerous lower-class professional teams over the next four years. These were the Adirondack Red Wings from the American Hockey League , the Utah Grizzlies and Kansas City Blades from the International Hockey League , the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks , Jacksonville Lizard Kings and Wheeling Nailers from the ECHL , the Austin Ice Bats from the Western Professional Hockey League , the Colorado Gold Kings from the West Coast Hockey League , and the Missouri River Otters from the United Hockey League .

From 2002 to 2006 Chaulk played continuously for the Fort Wayne Komets in the United Hockey League, with whom he won the 2003 Colonial Cup. In the league, he was always one of the defensively strongest attackers and received several personal awards. For the 2006/07 season , the left shooter went to Europe for the first time, where he received a contract with HC Alleghe from the Italian A1 series . He then spent three seasons at his ex-club Fort Wayne Komets in the now renamed International Hockey League division and won the Turner Cup three times in a row from 2008 to 2010. For the 2010/11 season , the Canadian was again committed by HC Alleghe from the A1 series.
