The Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin d'Arcachon Nord is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on November 18, 2003 and comprises eight parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the city of Andernos-les-Bains .

Historical development

The association, originally founded under the name Communauté de communes du Bassin Nord Atlantique , was raised to the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération with effect from January 1, 2018 and renamed to the current name.
