The Communauté de communes Convergence Garonne is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on December 5, 2016 and comprises 27 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Podensac .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

including three municipalities from the dissolved Communauté de communes du Vallon de l'Artolie .

With effect from January 1, 2018, two more municipalities joined the association.
