Conni & Co 2 - The secret of the T-Rex

Conni & Co is a German children's film from 2016 . It is the first film based on the Conni children 's book series published by Carlsen Verlag . Emma Schweiger can be seen in the title role , directed by Franziska Buch . The film was released in German cinemas on August 18, 2016.

The twelve year old Conni has to change schools and so has her problems with the new class. She is bullied by a group of girls and her friend Paul, also new to the class, turns his back on her and joins a group of dominant boys. Almost at the same time, a smart and lively Jack Russell Terrier runs towards her. It turns out that the dog belongs to Mr. Möller, the unpopular director of the school, who treats the dog lovelessly. The dog has just won a casting as a dog food advertising dog, albeit with illegal means. Mr. Möller had him sedated with medication, so that the dog seemed absolutely suitable to get through upcoming filming lethargic. The director now dreams of the hoped-for fee allowing him to quit his unpopular teaching job. He is desperately looking for the dog. Conni cannot keep the dog because her little brother is allergic to dog hair. She hides him in the sanctuary of their grandmother. The sanctuary is completely over-indebted and an auction threatens. With the help of her friends, Conni finally manages to save both the dog and the sanctuary.

In summer 2016 the filming of the sequel Conni & Co 2 - The Secret of T-Rex took place. The shooting took place in Marburg , in Brandenburg an der Havel on Rabbit Island and in Berlin on Pfaueninsel . Emma Schweiger took on the title role again, and most of the other actors in the first part also took part again. Directed by Til Schweiger . The film was released on April 20, 2017.
