Corinne Oviedo

Corinne Oviedo (* 1965 in Miami ) is a singer, composer, arranger and producer of Latin American music.

The ancestors of the US-born Oviedo come from Spain, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the Canary Islands. Her repertoire as a singer includes numerous genres of Latin American music as well as gospel, hiphop, rhythm and blues, jazz, rock and pop. As lead and background singer she recorded CDs and albums with Ricky Martin , Cristian Castro , Chayanne , Elvis Crespo , José Luis Rodríguez , Franco de Vita , José Luis Perales , María Dolores Pradera and the duo Azúcar Moreno .

Oviedo's songs were recorded by Oscar D'León , Lalo Rodríguez , Andy Montañez , Frankie Ruiz , Eddie Santiago , Hector Tricoche , Tony Vega , Domingo Quiñones , Johnny Ray and David Pavón , among others . Wilfrido Vargas sang her song Que sera in Martha Coolidge's film Out to Sea ( Tango like?, With Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon ) . Oviedo also composed, arranged, produced and sang numerous jingles for radio and television.
