Coteaux du Blanzacais is a former French commune with the last 925 inhabitants (2016) in the Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belonged to the canton of Charente-Sud and the arrondissement of Cognac .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2017 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Blanzac-Porcheresse and Cressac-Saint-Genis , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Blanzac-Porcheresse.

Côteaux du Blanzacais was merged with Saint-Léger to form the new Commune nouvelle Coteaux-du-Blanzacais (change of spelling) with effect from January 1, 2019 .

Neighboring municipalities are Val des Vignes in the northwest, Champagne-Vigny in the north, Pérignac and Saint-Léger in the east, Nonac in the southeast, Deviat in the south, Bessac in the southwest and Saint-Aulais-la-Chapelle in the west.
