Crescênzio Rinaldini

Crescênzio Rinaldini , also Don Enzo (born December 27, 1925 in Gardone Val Trompia , Province of Brescia , Italy ; † October 24, 2011 in Belo Horizonte , Brazil ), was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Araçuaí .

Life

Crescenzio Rinaldini studied philosophy and theology at the seminary of Brescia and received at 26 June 1949 ordination . He had a degree in mathematics and physics from the University of Pavia . He was parish vicar in Cellatica , later professor at the seminary of Brescia and diocesan assistant for the youth. In 1952 he went to the mission. In addition to pastoral activities, he was director and professor at the São José seminary in Araçuaí in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais for twenty years .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Araçuaí on May 10, 1982. The Bishop of Brescia , Luigi Morstabilini , donated him episcopal ordination in the Cathedral of Brescia on July 4, 1982 ; Co- consecrators were Lucas Moreira Neves OP , Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops , and Pietro Gazzoli , Auxiliary Bishop in Brescia.

On August 8, 2001, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
