Cristiano Silva Felício (born July 7, 1992 in Pouso Alegre ) is a Brazilian basketball player .

career

Cristiano Felício played for the Minas Tênis Clube in his home country from 2009 to 2012. He then moved to the United States and began the 2012/13 season at the CCSE Prep Academy in Sacramento  , California . The head of the school was sentenced to ten years in prison in December 2014 for mistreating players. According to his own statement, Cristiano Felício was not one of the man's victims. After his short trip to California, the Brazilian was part of the squad of the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in his home country. Since he had signed a contract there, his move to the University of Oregon , which had already been planned for the 2013/14 season, did not materialize because the NCAA saw the written agreement with the Brazilian team as a violation of the amateur guideline of the university league. Cristiano Felício therefore stayed in Brazil and at the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, where he played until 2015.

During the 2015 summer break, he was signed by the NBA team Chicago Bulls  .

National team

With the U18 national team in Brazil, he finished second in the American Championship in 2010; in the men's area, Cristiano Felício took part in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and in the 2019 World Cup in China when he selected his home country .
