Döngesmühle is a district of the municipality of Flieden in the south of the eastern Hessian district of Fulda . The hamlets Weinberg, Kellerei and Rückgrund belong to Döngesmühle. Döngesmühle borders in the north on the place Rommerz , in the east on the place Flieden, in the south on the place Struth and in the west on the place Magdlos . The Magdlose water flows through the district . The state road 3141 leads through the village. The district Döngesmühle is part of the Flieden district .

In the town council are the CDU and the SPD represented. In the local elections in 2011, the CDU obtained a majority of the votes and thus has a majority in the local council. Mayor is Peter Lotz (CDU).

There is a Roman Catholic church in the village , the branch church of the Holy Family of the parish of St. Goar in Flieden .

In Döngesmühle there is a village community center and a children's playground.
